Why I Still Believe in the American Dream

When I first arrived in the United States from El Salvador, I carried more hope than belongings. I believed that education, faith, and hard work could open doors — and I still believe that today.

America gave me the opportunity to learn, lead, and give back. My book, Why I Love America, is not only my story, but also a celebration of the freedom and resilience that make this nation strong.

Despite our differences, I’ve seen how compassion and courage unite us. The American dream isn’t about where you start — it’s about believing that with grace and perseverance, you can always rise higher.
